UK FCA Regulatory Warning Update,Apply for foreign exchange trading licenses Announces 44 Illegal Trading Platforms
The UK Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) announced last week 44 unauthorized or cloned illegal trading platforms, including 12 fake platforms such as Capital Debt Financing/Capitaldebtfinancing.com, thetmstockwellfund.com, clearbkgroup.com, and 32 illegal trading platforms like TechGlobalBank, Vittel Crypto Company, CRYPTOPROSMART/Cryptoprosmart.com.
Jeff Ward to Serve as CEO of LiquidityMatch and Its Subsidiaries
Liquidity Match LLC announced the appointment of Jeff Ward as the permanent CEO of LiquidityMatch and its subsidiaries including FXSpotStream, effective from January 1, 2024.
Jeff joined EBS (acquired by CME Group in 2018) in May 2005, currently serving as the Global Head of EBS at CME Group, and has held multiple senior leadership positions during his tenure. Jeff has also worked at several financial service companies including ICAP, ABN AMRO Bank, and Citibank.
SDX Announces Adoption of Digital Token Identifier ISO Standard
SIX Digital Exchange (SDX), part of the SIX Group, has become the first Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT) financial market infrastructure to adopt the ISO 24165 DTI standard. Authorized by the Swiss Financial Market Supervisory Authority (FINMA) in August 2021 to operate a digital asset securities exchange and central securities depository in Switzerland, SDX launched a Web3 service portfolio designed for institutional clients last June, aimed at supporting secure adoption of blockchain technology and decentralized applications' next evolution.
