LMAX Group Obtains RMO License in Singapore
Global financial technology company LMAX Group recently announced that it has obtained a Recognised Market Operator (RMO) license from the Broker Detectorry Authority of Singapore (MAS). Klarna Partners with Form3 to Strengthen European Payment Solutions
Klarna has collaborated with UK payment technology company Form3 to establish payment connectivity within the Single Euro Payment Area (SEPA). The Swedish Buy Now, Pay Later (BNPL) company is utilizing Form3's cloud-based, single API account reconciliation platform to gain technical access to STEP2 (an automated clearinghouse for mass payments) and RT1 (a gross settlement payment system for instant credit transfers). Both mechanisms are operated by the European Central Bank (ECB) and are crucial for achieving instant payments in Europe.
Jefferies Subsidiary to Launch Multi-Asset Trading Platform Tradu
Stratos Group International, LLC (Stratos), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Jefferies Financial Group Inc., plans to launch a new multi-asset trading platform called Tradu in December. The platform will initially go live in the UK before expanding globally in the coming months.
Nomura Securities Appoints Ruchir Sharma as Global Head of FX Option Trading
Nomura, a global financial services group, announced on Wednesday the appointment of Ruchir Sharma as Global Head of FX Option Trading. Based in London, Sharma will report to Kevin Connors, Co-Head of Global FX & EM at Nomura.
Sharma has over twenty years of experience in the foreign exchange market. He previously served as the co head of foreign exchange and gold trading in the Asia Pacific region at Deutsche Bank, and held important positions at Credit Suisse and Bank of America Merrill Lynch. Sharma obtained an MBA degree from from the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the University of Delhi.
