1. CySEC Orders RoboMarkets to Stop Offering Non-Cash Incentives to Retail Clients
Under the 2017 Investment Services and Foreign Exchange Investment Platform App DownloadActivities and Regulated Markets Law, according to Section 71(6)(b), the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (CySEC) has decided to order retail forex and CFD broker RoboMarkets to cease offering any form of non-cash incentives to its CFD retail clients, such as contest tickets and branded merchandise.
2. Hong Kong Stock Exchange Appoints John Hsu as Group Chief Technology Officer
Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited (HKEX) announced the appointment of John Hsu as Executive Director and Group Chief Technology Officer, replacing Richard Leung who will become the Group's Chief Information Officer (CIO).
According to HKEX's official press release, John Hsu will join the group on September 29, 2023, and become a member of the HKEX Management Committee. Currently, Hsu serves as the Chief Information Officer for HSBC Asia Pacific, where he has worked for over four years. Previously, he held several senior technical positions at renowned companies such as Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd., SF Express, Deloitte, and Oracle.
John Hsu holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Master's degree in Information Systems and Management from Carnegie Mellon University.

The UK Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) recently warned against two platforms, Cash Decision and EQ ANALYST900, which may be providing financial services or products without FCA authorization in the UK. Details are as follows:
